West Virginia and Virginia (September 24th through October 4th)

We made plans to go out with friends in Richmond, Virginia the weekend of September 30th, so we spent the next week making our way from Kentucky.  Our first night, we found St. Albans Roadside Park outside of Charleston, West Virginia.  Even though the site was right on the river, had full hook-up and FREE, we decided to only stay one night.  When we thought it couldn't get better, we were treated to an awesome sunset. The next day, we drove to Stony Fork Campground outside of Wytheville, VA.  The campground was situated in Jefferson National Forest and only cost $12 a night for water/electric.  Fall was in the air as the weather dipped below 80, and the leaves were just starting to turn.  Since the weather was so nice, and the temperature was ideal, we decided to stay two nights. The next night, we made an overnight stop in Roanoke.  There were no RV parks nearby, so we called Camping World as most RV dealerships have slots available for overnight stays.  They sugges
